Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) is a food additive used as a flavor enhancer. MSG is the sodium salt of glutamic acid, an amino acid found naturally in foods such as tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, and mushrooms. Our cooperative factory produces MSG through fermentation of sugar beet molasses and starch.
